Description
The Weatherby Vanguard Badlands brings the proven Vanguard bolt-action platform into the field dressed in Badlands Approach camouflage, purpose built for hunters working open and broken country. Chambered in 22-250 Remington, this rifle pairs a flat-shooting, high-velocity hunting cartridge with a durable action engineered for hard use.
At its core is a stainless steel receiver that is drilled and tapped for optic mounting, mated to a 24 inch 2 contour threaded barrel finished in Burnt Bronze Cerakote for corrosion resistance. The threaded muzzle is ready for fitting of a standard muzzle accessory. A 1:12 inch twist stabilizes a wide range of bullet weights suited to the cartridge’s flat trajectory.
The action wears an adjustable two-stage match trigger for a clean, predictable pull, and a three-position safety for confident handling in the field. The synthetic Monte Carlo stock features a raised comb for proper eye alignment with scoped optics and is finished in the adaptive Badlands Approach camo pattern that breaks up the rifle’s outline in western and open-country environments. The rifle is configured for right hand shooters only, with an overall length of 44 inches and a weight of 7.5 lbs, balancing nicely for carry in rough terrain and steady shots from field positions.
With a 5+1 capacity and no iron sights, the Vanguard Badlands is set up for optics right out of the box. It is a complete, current production rifle ready to mount your preferred glass and head to the range or the hunt.
