The ATN PS31-3 is a compact, lightweight dual tube night vision goggle/binocular designed as the modern replacement for the legacy PS-15. Built around Gen 3 auto-gated image intensifier tubes with P43 green phosphor output, the PS31-3 delivers a clean, high-contrast image with 58-60 lp/mm resolution for hands-free nighttime observation, navigation, and tactical use.
The dual tube design provides true binocular depth perception with a 40-degree field of view, 1x magnification, and a focus range from 25 yards to infinity. A built-in IR illuminator is included for map reading and operation in total darkness, while the rugged aluminum housing measures a low-profile 4.50″ x 7″ x 3.50″ for comfortable wear during extended use.
The PS31-3 is configured for head mounting and ships ready for hands-free deployment. As a Generation 3 auto-gated night vision device, it offers a meaningful step up in clarity, spot performance, and tube life compared to Gen 2 and Gen 1 systems, making it well suited for professional and recreational low-light applications.
