The Viridian HS1 is billed as the world’s first AR hand stop with an integrated red laser sighting device, giving AR-platform shooters a compact aiming tool that doubles as a forward hand control. Built in a matte Flat Dark Earth finish to blend with FDE rifle builds, the HS1 clamps directly to any M-LOK rail for a slim, low-profile mount that places the laser’s activation point right where the support hand grips the handguard.
The integrated laser runs in the 635-650nM red spectrum at 5mW and is rated for a visible range of 100 yards in daylight and up to 2 miles at night. Power is supplied by a single 1/3N lithium battery, and the unit uses intuitive grip activation buttons built into the hand stop so the laser comes on naturally as the shooter takes a firing grip. Adjustable windage and elevation let the beam be zeroed to the host rifle’s point of impact.
The HS1 body is molded from durable polymer in a Flat Dark Earth finish and is purpose-built for the AR-platform. The combined hand stop and laser design cleans up the front of the rifle by replacing a standard angled grip with a functional aiming device, saving rail space while improving the shooter’s grip and recoil control.
