The Hornady 95200 Standard Lock Box is a compact, single-handgun personal vault from the Hornady Security line. It is built around a 16-gauge steel housing finished in black, with a foam-padded interior to keep a stored pistol or revolver from rattling around during transport or day-to-day drawer storage.
With exterior dimensions of 9.5″ L x 6.5″ W x 1.75″ D and an interior of 9.25″ L x 6.25″ W x 1.5″ D, the box is sized to accept most 4″ barrel pistols and many 4″ revolvers. Access is by key – no batteries, no electronics, no codes to forget. The lock box is not fire-rated; it is intended as a portable, quick-access security container rather than a long-term fire vault.
To keep the box itself from being carried off, Hornady includes a 4-foot steel security cable rated at 1,500 lb.
