The Bergara Rifles B-14 HMR Carbon Wilderness is a purpose-built bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .308 Winchester, designed for hunters who demand precision performance in a lightweight package. New for 2023, this rifle pairs Bergara’s renowned one-piece B-14 action with a CURE carbon fiber wrapped barrel for substantial weight savings over the standard HMR, while preserving the accuracy the platform is known for.
At the heart of the rifle is a 20″ carbon fiber wrapped barrel with a 1:10″ twist rate, threaded 5/8×24 and capped with Bergara’s signature Omni Muzzle Brake for tamed recoil and faster follow-up shots. The steel receiver is finished in a tough blued/black finish, and feeds from a 5-round detachable box magazine for a 5+1 capacity. A two-position safety sits at the rear of the action for confident carry in the field.
The stock is a molded unit with an integrated mini-chassis that provides repeatable bedding and a stable platform for the barreled action, finished in a Woodland Camo digital camouflage pattern that blends seamlessly into timber and mountain terrain. Measuring 40″ overall and weighing just 7.50 lbs, the HMR Carbon Wilderness is a balanced, easy-carry rifle in any environment.
